Dr. Krugmann is an accomplished senior leader with 20 years of experience in the medical devices, pharma and consumer healthcare industries. With his medicine, engineering, and business background, he combines various perspectives and understands diverse customers’ needs. Jens is a change agent with clinical experience and demonstrated achievements in creating value through process optimization, organizational design and leading and improving the performance of multi-functional global teams in Clinical, Medical & Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Safety. Dr. Krugmann has held a variety of leadership positions in healthcare industries which included responsibilities for global Clinical Research for BrainLab’s Orthopedic and Traumatology business, Zimmer’s (today Zimmer Biomet) International Clinical Trials, Johnson & Johnson’s global Product Quality, Safety & Risk Management for a number of Medical Devices businesses and the company’s global Consumer Healthcare product portfolio. Supporting their commercial strategies Jens also led and oversaw Medical Affairs & Product Lifecycle management activities for all Johnson & Johnson’s Medical Devices businesses for Europe, Middle East & Africa.
Prior to joining industry, Dr. Krugmann gained clinical experience in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Anesthesia and Orthopedics & Traumatology in University hospitals and public and private clinics in Germany, France, UK, Switzerland, and Namibia.
JJens served as chair in various company committees and represented companies in several industry organizations and medical societies at the National and European levels. Jens is a notified-body certified Regulatory Affairs Manager, author of scientific publications, international congress speaker, and university lecturer.
